extor (IRC): Which BSD is best for hosting with apache and PHP?
jaypatelani (IRC): extor: which one are you currently using? what is project scope and requirement? then make decision
extor (IRC): I am currently using centos but was thinking of moving to BSD
jaypatelani (IRC): all BSDs are best for hosting with apache php but you need to see if which version you require vs which available in repo
extor (IRC): My problem is I need to sandbox one site/IP from the rest. I know cPanel somehow does it on centos boxes by creating different user accounts per domain but with raw BSD and apache how would I go about doing the same, for example if I had a site with iffy wordpress plugins and dozens and dozens of site per VPS it would make sense to sandbox each domain from the others. Not sure if jails are the answer here since the httpd user needs access to all files.
extor (IRC): The only other quirk is...I need to run PHP versions of 5.3.3 or lower due to PHP scripts that break with version 5.4
