Building an old proliant server with BSD

I have a proliant DL580 g5 that will be using to make a multi container server with Plex Media server as main reason

What do you use BSD for?

For learning about unix and learn programming with it

I want dominate NetBSD

Depends on what level of security you want to do really. Bad is just going to be what holds the containers. The vms are going to be several different kinds.

I guess all BSD are able to be servers

No my friend who is helping with setup gave me a long winded reason why. There can xenserver, VMware, Ubuntu server, poxmox, and more that do virtualization

I'm learning a lot but all are little things

Now i'm reading about sockets

Bsd made the sockets

Most of unix important things are made by Berkeley xD

With BSD i feel now i can start learn

And i hope i will learn a lot

But seems BSD will prepare me to take good knowledgements

I feel now i have a good tool to start in development world. But this isn't really, only it's my opinion. Most of SSOO are good tools to start development

Netbsd hasn't got python, perl and other languages xD idk how many languages have with full default installation

I have 3 pc and netbsd runs in two

But are very very old machines and the last pc i was using needs more ram

Only have 1 ram card because the other card was fucked.

I have 400mb of ram

Nice... I have a laptop that still works that has 4mb of ram and barely running Windows 95 lol... Gag gift from a couple years ago
