aaron: There was one minor bug that I hit on OpenBSD that prevented me from using it on my desktop, but it's my preferred OS. I'd rather take the small performance hit than deal with the insanity of some of these other systems (both Linux and BSD.)

aaron: I had no trouble with Firefox. You do you to raise ulimits though, or Firefox tends to malloc too much, then fault and die.

aaron: That's the "host specific" bit. Who is hosting your email? I would check their site. And are you using thunderbird? Or something like mutt/luamail/etc?

aaron: That's an exercise in pain.
aaron: You'll need a fetching program (fetchmail?) to download mail from them to your mail spool, and then to configure sendmail/opensmtpd to relay your mail back out through them.

Follpvosten: Where's the best place to get help with Lumina Desktop?
Jaypatelani: Follpvosten: Join the chat: https://gitter.im/trueos/lumina
Follpvosten: Thanks (tho i can't get into that room using Matrix? Do i need a Gitter account?)
Jaypatelani: Follpvosten: you will need github account
Jaypatelani: Another place is https://discourse.trueos.org
Follpvosten: I have a GitHub account, but can i use Matrix at all? Or should i just use Gitter directly? That's what i'd like to know

Jaypatelani: Follpvosten: lumina project is only on gitter..
