also, cdroms with cumulative updates. i still have a sp3 cdrom for xp sp2 (italian only) somewhere

yoni nothing wrong, you just need to fix freeldr.ini after installation. By default, FreeLoader has been installed with RamDisk option enabled, since you preformed RamDisk installation. To disable it, press F10 while in boot menu, then Enter and in the line change ramdisk(1) to ramdisk(0). This will disable RamDisk boot option. Then Enter again and boot the system. It should help you.😉

No, it's not.

not really. Wine+DVXK included with Steam. The only thing that really makes it special from normal Wine is the Steam integration to make launching games seamless.
