Korea?
I'm not seeing any Hangul or Chosongul characters, so no Korean language.
Julio
Would be nice if every country changes their language to latin charset
Julio
So we can get rid of the mess of having utf-16,32,64,128,256,0xFFF

It is a symbolic question, I don't think he's really going to hire 10 devs

A lot of people read this questiion

I answered that such an OS already exists in alpha stage and that it is called ReactOS. And I told them to donate so that the ReactOS community can make the rest of it
Aman Pinto
Maybe put out a workable (stable) release and people would be inclined to donate to it. You can't really ask people to donate for a project that they have absolutely no idea on its progress.

What if an Amazon seller agreed to send you a product that's only available on there, but the only condition is that you have to pay in advance. Would you do it?
Anas

Aman Pinto
That's why I said, if you depend on donations that much, then sell off the project to a bigger open source company that has the funding to back it up and let the head dev lead the project.
Chungy
anyhow, a stable release of ReactOS is going to require a lot of work.
Chungy
Amazon has pretty good anti-fraud policies. It's one of the big reasons people trust the site.
I've had to file a claim once about it :P
Chungy
Anyway, you basically described pre-orders. They aren't unusual.
Aman Pinto
Lol, image you pay in advance and this OS turns out to be like Cyberpunk 2077
Chungy
It's an open source project with a transparent development process. That isn't even a possibility.
Chungy
If people donate, they should know exactly what they're donating into.
Chungy
Neither is it "paying for ReactOS" :p
Aman Pinto
Tbh, a stable ReactOS build does look like it'll take time to come out, plus they have to work on a modern UI.
Mike
Question: paragon open sourced their NTFS driver for Linux. Can this be somewhat useful for reactos, maybe for documentation use?
Chungy
MIght be, but Paragon's drivers are rife with issues. ntfs-3g is a much more featureful and stable driver to study from

on one hand you're saying there needs to be a stable version before people will donate
