IObit driver booster is an app on windows which I fire up everytime after new OS install, it scans the PC and downloads all the drivers needed

So, after installing Linux, should I get any software like IObit driver booster that can download all drivers for me?

Most Newer distros already have automatic driver discovery and support. Exceptions: Firmware for certain NIC devices Firmware and drivers for certain Wifi devices nVidia drivers (but nouveau are already included, so you have screen working) Some printer / scanner drivers

I answered that such an OS already exists in alpha stage and that it is called ReactOS. And I told them to donate so that the ReactOS community can make the rest of it

Maybe put out a workable (stable) release and people would be inclined to donate to it. You can't really ask people to donate for a project that they have absolutely no idea on its progress.

Imagine if it is a no name seller. It's not a given fact that you can't get scammed on Amazon.

Amazon has pretty good anti-fraud policies. It's one of the big reasons people trust the site. I've had to file a claim once about it :P

It's an open source project with a transparent development process. That isn't even a possibility.

Question: paragon open sourced their NTFS driver for Linux. Can this be somewhat useful for reactos, maybe for documentation use?

MIght be, but Paragon's drivers are rife with issues. ntfs-3g is a much more featureful and stable driver to study from

Well, a stable release will take time but UI can always be improved with a theme

fwiw you can install reactos in a virtual machine already, its simply not "stable" yet

so the current status and the current progress can be seen already ;)
