i can because the note 4 technically is midrange in 2017. Snap 805, 32G internal, 3G ram - i can get all of those, with replaceable battery (or equal things) in midrange devices.

My openvpn runs on midrange device too tough.

And no matter if gdocs, web uis, remote desktop - all works fine.

You can get a Nexus 5x used for less than 200 too. At least in the Spanish Amazon there are always some available, and you have the same warranty like if it was new. The Moto g4 is another option if you can't get the G5. The Samsung j5 looks good too
