Batteries have a shorter life than devices.

Another Thing i will avoid because i like when my phone can power trough a whole day.
And if that will restrict me to midrange devices then so be it - i dont need a flagship. I'd for sure appreciate one but they can go fuck themselves and on top of that not have my money.

The one I bought has a very good battery. I use it through all the day and, at the end of the day, I still have like 20%

Right now i will use my Phone until it either stops working or falls apart, whatever comes first - and maybe i'd send an additional "fuck you" by buying a fairphone instead

My Note took 1 2/3 years before the battery was from 8 to 4 hours SOT - fixed with a brand spanking new anker replacement.

Same as I did. But I can't restrain to a midrange device due to all the stuff I do with my phone (excluding candy crush, of course)

Or your battery isn't that good or you use it way more than me. When I use it a lot, this already crappy phone still has 50%. And I put it to charge.

i can because the note 4 technically is midrange in 2017. Snap 805, 32G internal, 3G ram - i can get all of those, with replaceable battery (or equal things) in midrange devices.

I would love to do that, but some times I have to do VPN connections or some work on it. I avoid taking my laptop everywhere since it's a little too heavy

It depends, but mostly OpenVPN and Cisco

Indeed, That's why I bought another midrange, the only disadvantage is that it has internal battery

And everyday I see less phones that comes with removable battery. I mean, I'm not a fan of this situation, but how much time do you think that the manufacturers will keep fabricating batteries for their old phones?

And most of the batteries that you can buy online are not original, that's kind of dangerous also

Anker makes quite nice batteries. And spreading fear about thirdparty repairs will allow the maker to control even more rigidly the repair and rebuy rates.

Well, it is reasonable to spread fear about noname Chinese batteries for 50% of usual non-original replacements.

Dont state that publicly like it was true then. This is the exact situation we want to avoid - accidentally make people believe that 3rdparty is always a risk, even if its cheaper and just as safe.

I got it in USD$300, there is another model, the zenfone 3 Max. The battery is 4100 mAh, 32 storage and 3 Gb ram. The price is between 200€ in Amazon. I'll let you know if I found another option

You can get a Nexus 5x used for less than 200 too. At least in the Spanish Amazon there are always some available, and you have the same warranty like if it was new. The Moto g4 is another option if you can't get the G5. The Samsung j5 looks good too
