Lumina seems to be missing some depends on Fedora 25, of you can figure out what it is, it'd be awesome...

I'd recommend getting a launcher like menu, like mint's or Solus', though...

My problem with KDE is that they took away some configuration. In example, the screenlock can't be customised, only change the wallpaper. No "Get new stuff" for QT themes and no way to install splash screens. And the ones that come by default are rather boring.

I'm tempted to install Cinnamon but... Last time I used it didn't like the themes, and they seem to be even slower than KDE to add more stuff.

On the other hand, it does gives some more tweaking on certain areas.

No, you can't. Gnome 3 doesn't allow to tweak themes. And the panel size depends on the Shell theme.

Yeah, the only difference I noticed is that with X.org I have some weird things in the start, and with Wayland I haven't. But nothing else.
