Actually, it happens for any invalid subdomain. I tried qwertyasd.google.com and I'm redirected to findbetterresults.com (which my router blocks as being a malware site).

Yes I do know Russian, thanks.
I can't reproduce the problem on other machines.
I can however reproduce the problem even when connected to 3G instead of WiFi.
Well, whatever works for the end user, I guess. I'll change mine to 8.8.8.8.

Don't forget that /etc/resolv.conf is maintained by Network Manager in Fedora, so you must set this options in it's settings.

Is this related with libresolve-something from the fedora repos?, yesterday I noticed there was an upgrade.

Probably best to go ahead and just ask. :)
Haha ok then. I was trying to add a shortcut, like the Super button using the xfce-settings-editor, by adding a custom one in there, to make a specific xfce-panel show up
but I couldn't do that, or at least my commands were not correct, since nothing showed up
ok nvm guys, it can't be done, I just made it open the appfinder instead

Days ago someone asked me what to do to take care of a package whose maintainer isn't responding. I don't remember who was, so I'm leaving the link here: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Policy_for_nonresponsive_package_maintainers

Hello guys! Do anyone knows a way to get BFQ in Fedora? Except those two copr repos that have outdated kernels.
one of them though has 4.8.2 which is not that bad. but I hope to get something not affected by the dirty cow:)

Kohane

Bfq?

Serge
14.11.2016
14:32:27
BFQ is the IO scheduler that does fancy heuristics to prioritize reading in a way desktop user wants it to be
on the last Kernel Summit they decided to bring it to the kernel finaly after 6 years of rejections
it will be a part of the new blk-mq
but it realy works well and is available as patches for any kernel version out there
AFAIK it is available in Ubuntu out of the box
I've tryed it on my laptop and the video playback doesn't stumble any more. It works so great that you can launch chrome like instantly while dropbox is syncing

Its also a very young, untested, thirdparty software from kernel-independent devs that dies (performance-wise) if you have alot of logical cpus - making it entirely unusuable for servers

@jflory7 I just received 3 emails saying that I commented on a ticket (https://pagure.io/tickets/issue/69#comment-42157) when it's been ages that I have nothing to say on that ticket, supposing is the same where I commented. When I did it was Trac and not Pagure. Also the link returns a 404 error. So... Is this a bug in the migration or something else...? Do you know anything about this?

No
It's about the localisation team asking for budget. They (we) wanted to reward the most active translators with fancy shirts and maybe some swag.
I commented a couple of times but it was time ago. Eventually we reached an agreement and I had nothing to say. So it's been weeks without commenting. Maybe it's even closed, I don't know.

There's a bug with the namespace part showing up in email and notifications. It should be fixed soon, but the missing part of the URL was Fedora-Council.
