Well, i doubt BFQ does some super-magic that cfq does not handle kind of just as good
it does. but that is heuristics that CFQ will never do. actually it is limited by blk working in single thread indeed. but it is not unusable for servers. it just not suitable for that purpose by default. it will be included it future android versions as the default scheduler but with a twist. it will use cgroups to prioritise the current active app io. the app which is on the front now.
it could be that I'm still slightly under impression of the Paolo Valente's talk at the Linux Piter conf on the BFQ. But it allowed me to watch FullHD video smoothly on my laptop. for me this is enough:)
any way this is a matter of time now for it to become a part of the kernel. but I don't want to wait:)

it is crucial for Android to give the active app a higher IO priority. this greatly improves user experience

There was a beta blocker and we decided to postpone it one week. Hopefully it will be tested and fixed meantime.

What issue?
That Fedora messes certain Mac OS partitions. This potentially could nuke that partition.
When installing dual boot.

Dani~

Well, I've updated and the partiton it's there
But in anaconda doesn't detect it
So.. maybe a new installer can fuck up their partition thinking osx it's not there(?)

Apple only allows 3D on native virtuals
I mean, if you virtualize osx on osx
Which it's pretty useless

Google

Terry
14.11.2016
20:08:44
it will go to the same ring 0 kernel hypervisor or supervisor
just called as a ring -1 kernel
and only newer computers can support this type of virtualization
like 2008?
if i recall
just looked it up the ring -1 kernel is actually more recent

which vm where you using and how recent is your CPU?
the newest ones from intel and amd are for sure with ring -1 instructions
which allows native execution of the vm
well with some overhead
to.protect the rest of the computer
