Why is yum faster than dnf ? I mean it takes yum 2sec while it take dnf longer, even when downloading packages and choosing mirrors

A simple question, what about Cinnamon vs KDE? I used KDE/Plasma4, for many time and it worked great. I'm not so sure about Plasma 5 and I think I'll change it. At the moment I'm on gnome that I don't like very much... I never tried cinnamon, that looks like a mix between KDE and Gnome ?? so, I'm curious but my fear is that after the configuration of whole Cinnamon I'll miss KDE...

well... most of desktops consume a similar ram...
also, mine (cinnamon) is at 382MB...
it's just to tell, that I have everything pretty minimal
with dark colors, that in case of my screen consume less energy than clear colors xD

Both have panels but Mate has two and menus on the top left a bit like OSX, while Cinnamon follows a Windows like scheme (one panel, icons, menu on bottom left). And Plasma 5 is weird, LOL

If you want a true Gnome 2.x experience, look no further than MATE, which is a fork of the latest stable Gnome version before Gnome 3
As for KDE, if you want the KDE 3 experience, I think "Trinity" is the answer

but I remember hearing that it arrived on Fedora

You missed a feature that is present in GTK2 but not GTK3 : the option to change GTK colours to anything you like. ?
And for Nemo... well, I dislike more Nautilus, so... I think saying it's "horrible" isn't completely fair. IMHO.

Cinnamon is very customizable and with hot corners you can set applications view like Gnome 3 (and the other corners for other things). Using this and Alt+F2 I don't use the Windows-like start button. I have not tried KDE, therefore I can't compare it ?.
I also recommend Numix and Arc themes
