The entire terminal app is ported to GTK3 finally and supports unlimited scrollback history, the power manager received a lot of bug fixes and translation updates, the notification daemon is also ported to GTK3, and the live image now uses Firefox by default (although the last bit likely isn't relevant unless you're trying things out).

Unlimited scrollback history? Terminal.app from Mac OS X has had that for over a decade :^] edit: I didn't intend to link to a domain name- that's just how folder names are like for Mac OS X apps. Also, I forgot .app is a TLD now!

yeah, I know, it's a shame because musicians usually don't complain. They just learn how to use and carry on. So it's easier to suggest them open source solutions than to other people.

It doesn't matter, software doesn't pick out between good and bad music LOL

To write music you have LilyPond and Denemo. To edit audio you have Audacity and Rosegarden. There's also Oceanaudio but I can't remember if it's open source or not. Rosegarden also records and helps you with composition.

I am maintaining a computer running a VIA S3G graphics chip, 384 Mb DDR ram and and AMD Athlon XP with 1 Ghz clock rate. It is able to play 1080p youtube fine.
