It remains there, though it doesn't trigger any update to the package in question. That's OK, but I'd like to purge. :-P

Why would you get a vulnerable flash version from adobe when chrome comes with a fixed, sandboxed one

"Flash plugin
Note that this plugin is not supported by Adobe any more, it doesn't receive any security updates at all. You should not use it.
Adobe Flash is known to be horribly insecure by design, so be very careful where to use it. Except for some very old or shady websites you probably don't need Flash at all. "
The Firefox Flash Plugin is outdated and has known vulnerabilities.
You can only use chromium + chromium-pepper-flash if you dont want Google Chrome
(If you want a recent, updated flash)

Just remove Adobe Flash completely. 99% of websites will start using HTML5 players instead.

[ANNOUNCE]
I implemented a nice tool to build RPM and Debian packages from git repositories using Docker:
https://github.com/packpack/packpack
It's mostly like mock and pbuilder, but based on Docker and works well with GitHub + Travis CI + PackageCloud.
Your feedback is needed :)

HTML 5 video works well, even on old hardware. I updated a computer running Firefox 24 to Firefox 49 and instantly noticed that all of HTML 5 video's lag problems were gone. Great job at mozilla!

I am maintaining a computer running a VIA S3G graphics chip, 384 Mb DDR ram and and AMD Athlon XP with 1 Ghz clock rate. It is able to play 1080p youtube fine.
YouTube's codecs are so extremely compressed that even very old hardware can play it

If you work on many stuff, I would advise you to throw a 1 TB hard drive in there if you can afford to, to store stuff and use SSD for main OS and other things that need speed
