Somewhere I saw that if a package do not meet some tags or labels, it is not listed in gnome software. Some packager haven't update their packages to follow those guidelines that only apply to be listed on gnome software. But that was some time ago, like 2 years ago

Yep, during my installation, I did a little research and found out that /boot partition had to be mounted in /boot/EFI

Efi system need esp(fat32) as boot partition

Yep. 2FA don't work. But at least it does not require a patched Qt, and already packaged in Fedora repos.

And why not packaging the Telegram programme itself? It would be easier to use and improve. About Cutegram, is nice but besides what @lesik_onthego mentioned, the @ followed by a name doesn't work either. No names are shown when you type @

Not really, you can always package it as RPM, but it doesn't change anything on the fact that the app is horribly put together and no one sane would want to get it to Fedora repos.

I doubt it's in Arch repos, I guess it's just aur. You can always static link everything and ship a binary, no magic about it, but it just doesn't meet quality standards of Fedora.

If you dont want to miss warnings, install the message notifier extension that will flash the time in red when you missed a notification or error. If Elements are too small for you, either use the highdpi setting for 4k monitors or use the Text scale Option in Tweaktool. "Glasses" dont equal to needing a light Theme. I have -5 vision and as a result extremely heavy glasses - and i use nothing but arcdark.

Because packaging Telegram itself will require creating second qt5* packages, which will contain patches they made to it. Packaging binary they making on their site is like packaging nonfree.

I don't think this is "impossible", but will require hard times. Also a second qt5 package with their patches, so you need somehow to make a second qt5 with suffix...

@jgrulich flatpacked it, the manifesto is almost 400 lines long, normally flatpak manifestos are straight forward and short.

normally it doesn't matter on my laptop as almost anytime I compile flatpak app with CXX code and compiler just segfaults

I think there is an app that lets you add an icon in the desktop and link it with that executable file, but I don't remember its' name

Then Telegram Desktop is run for first time, it creates .desktop link in menu by itself.

you can create a telegram.desktop file in /usr/share/applications/ just make a copy of some other .desktop file, remove all the fields you don't need, correct the lines name=Telegram exec=/full/path/to/telegram/executable save it
