Well, according to my laptop that is way older than yours, you should boot fine with a partioning as it follows: /root /home /swap and Windows

Check the /etc/grub.d/40_customs

And see what's the entry for Windows

And 15_windows ?

My older laptop had a tiny partition aside Windows that it was the bootloader and it should NOT delete it or change it. Otherwise, Windows wouldn't start.

+1. You'll find a hard time getting support for an EOL version of Fedora. You can use Fedora 23 or 24, but I'd recommend starting fresh from F24 if you're doing an install.
