This is great news! The modem in my ThinkPad is rather unstable, especially after suspend or hibernate. Hopefully ModemManager 1.6 will bring fresh wind to this.

I suppose not. Because Android Studio is a large program, it includes lots of files. But, if someone knows a solution for your question, he/she can tell you :)
