All of a sudden

If I connect to 2,4 GHz everything works as expected

It's so weird

It's an Intel chip anyway

Shouldn't have any problem

A few hours ago I updated it's driver

That could be the reason

I've just deleted the connection and recreated it and it's working again...!?!?

On that note, i quite like pronouncing dnf - saying yum can easily be mistaken as reaction to something especially of you're talking to firsttimers - d n f is recognizeable and you can just put it into the terminal. :P

Make sure to set the hdd in virt manager to virtio and writeback always, the same for network interfaces - to install windows on that you need the spice guest tools on cd (for the driver) and for some distros that dont come with it the qxl driver and so on.

Same here, I ditched virtualbox and use virt-manager, libvirtd, and qemu-kvm stacks instead. Works better, enjoy it.

I'm curious. In what way do you feel that it works better? I use VB partly because it works identically across Mac, Windows and Linux, but I have no problems with it as a hypervisor. I've also recently been trying VMware Workstation and Fusion and don't find them to beat Vbox in any way that matters to me.

QEMU which runs on the top of KVM does AFAIK. (most tools don't use KVM directly, but rather through QEMU)

Do you mean to keep less of them in history? Or to erase a specific one?

It would help to know why you want to do this so we can give better advice for your situation.

You don't need to. The system does it automatically with every kernel update.

Fernando

Actually I would always keep the three latest kernels, which is the default, in case something breaks.

can kvm work with vdmk
It can (experimentally) but for best results use qemu-img to convert vmdk to .qcow2

Else you can set an installonly limit but even that, keep it at minimum 2 because a new kernel might not behave as expected and keeping old kernels gives you the safety to go back.

Eh, i'd still bind LUKS to a more trusted source - one that i can duplicate if one breaks and of course can take somewhere else if i upgrade my pc but keep the ssd.

Yep, I checked it out, it's pretty interesting, but right now, it's not there so I have to work with what I have right now :D Which is a device that can use TPM. So the question is: Is there an easy way to use it with LUKS or not? And by easy way, I refer to something that I can setup in less than 5 minutes without compiling stuff myself or need ressources from an untrusted source (like downloading random scripts from GitHub)

My research says no, but who knows, maybe I missed something
