Yes you cant edit entries directly but this is supported across every distro and shows up neatly in a scripts menu on rightclick.
IMHO the better thing.

Guys, is it possible to adjust GNOME Boxes guest to the real hosts resolution?
I have Dell XPS 13 with QHD display, and run RHEL into boxes. It is using reduced resolution :(

I mean, when 26 hit beta I got a notification from gnome-software about it and I was asked to (optionally) update to the beta. I'm wondering if the same thing will happen to this beta release

If you can help it dont use vbox.
virt-manager will serve the same purpose and will be much less damaging to your machine.

If it is going nice remove virtualbox and all modules as soon as you can as they may introduce bugs and problems in your kernel.

VirtualBox is damaging the system? wtf
It is tainting your kernel for one - making bug reports from your system watched with wearyness.
And kernel modules can introduce bugs and side effects, especially one that handles virtual networking, hypervisor activity and co.

And you can't use abrt with a tainted kernel either, taking the possiblity that if your machine has an actual bug in the kernel you can just let the tool autosubmit it.
That and more makes me recommend to just use whats coming with the system - its a slight downgrade in usability (unless you're happy with gnome-boxes and dont need all the fancies virt-manager provides) but an upgrade in stability, security and general things all around.

Didn't know anything about such kernel integration.
