I've only used FreeBSD a couple of times, once for work and once I just installed it in a virtual machine and left it. I've used UNIX(including macOS) and Linux distributions before. I think I'll learn FreeBSD best on the desktop use.

well, docs is probably one of FreeBSDs best features, so if you do not like docs but instead want an OS that automagically does everything for you then you probably have to look elsewhere

I'm stuck with 6.1.1 - it only shows "Connection in progress. Please wait" and then nothing happens. The target is known to be alive/available

and it's also impossible to connect to this FreeBSD instance via anydesk. this is my office desktop I'm writing this message from - so it's connected to the internet and fully working
