Hi! So, I have been testing to see how I can connect to protonvpn after protonvpn-cli stopped working. I reached to pvpn's support team and they sent me the following link: https://protonvpn.com/support/linux-openvpn/. Below, a very short how-to for those interested. Step 0: Login into your account and download the config files (.ovpn)by selecting macOS. Step 1: Unarchive the zip files somewhere in your user folder. Step 2: Enter the folder that contains the .ovpn config files. Step 3: Run: openvpn-client us-free-19.protonvpn.net.udp.ovpn as a root in a terminal. Running: openvpn us-free-19.protonvpn.net.udp.ovpn as a user will give you the following message error: Cannot allocate TUN/TAP dev dynamically. Step 4: Enter your credentials by using OpenVPN/IKEv2 username from your pvpn account (ProtonVPN>Account>OpenVPN/IKEv2 username) when asked. Don't forget to press Enter :D! Step 5: Congratulations!! You are now connected!! You may see in terminal the following warning message: WARNING: this configuration may cache passwords in memory -- use the auth-nocache option to prevent this To get rid off the warning message add --auth-nocache param at the end of the line: sudo openvpn-client nl-free-33.protonvpn.net.udp.orig.ovpn --auth-nocache Step 6: To end the connection press CTRL+C.

If the question is how to develop android apps in FreeBSD. Let me ask you, have you googled something about android in FreeBSD before so we can start from a point? I have my doubts that it can be doable, but maybe I'm wrong, maybe. As for Docker, Ubuntu, etc. That is offtopic here, no offense (: To use "containers" in FreeBSD read about jails and bhyve. Setting up an Ubuntu Jail can be interesting, I've only created Alpine Jails

I kindly suggest you to join the offtopic chat too so conversation about android apps development and such can grow. It can be interesting

If you plan to do serious android development go with a linux distribution

Is your jail using VNET?
A Answer in bastille group: @AyMiYepa AFAIR I had similar problems when I played with Elasticsearch in a jail. The localhost IP address belongs to the host. Inside the jail you have: ip4.addr = 10.17.89.10;

Hello, please can anyone help me how can check and repair partitions because i have Juniper switch EX2300 and can't find the partition commands??
XS
gpart ? there is no fsck for zfs file system as far as i know
Unrelated, Junos OS is a specific and commercial system for juniper's equipment.
Anonymous
ok
XS
Well, he asks for support here about something that's not managed and configured as a FreeBSD for instance. FreeBSD does not handle and manage Juniper equipments. But maybe you do ?
XS
For exemple Junos OS "partitions", just like most specific and commercial networking devices is not much related to the topic.
XS
It's not done the same way, technically.
Anonymous
nope idk juniper
