Linux can't get installed. So can't even get to a default screen/terminal. Hangs on video. Which Linux has a default Nouveau?

For? If trying ReactOS the video works. But has other major driver problems. With Linux. I cant find a distro that will install. What proprietary driver. I cant even find anything on nVidia website. The Dell Drivers are windows. They work fine. But Win7 not supported any longer. So all the browser s wont update either. So bad browsers. ReactOS browser is bad too.

Its a TV/ Computer Combo. So all built in. Their life cycle was shorter than worker bees I think.

Windows 7 still gets updates for corporations that pay for it, untill 2023. BypassESU removes restrictions and allows you to get and install those updates.

I wasnt able to find that comparable card.. or what it was. So perhaps ill look for a Linux that supports the 9600M

Devuan Linux, then you can use qemu/virt-manager/kvm/virtio to virtualize ReactOS and have both working.

No, not really. Windows Internals is sometimes referenced to implement ReactOS. Sometimes it's known to be inaccurate to what Windows really does.

Imho, for most home uses a c2d or a64 x2 can still be pretty decent, and I already was pissed off by the "sorry, no upgrade to athlon 64" thing that happened a couple of years ago
