Maybe FreeDOS dId magic, im looking forward
FreeDOS is getting better than MS DOS 7 and PC DOS 2000
Anonymous
It's so good, that some guys are putting FreeDOS on laptops/desktops you buy without OS
Anonymous
So FreeDOS should work even on a 9900k lmao
Sumi Bleckie
Mine was preinstalled with it too

I do not understand why they put FreeDOS, I think it would be more interesting to put a Linux without Xorg or Wayland for use on modern equipment.
Anonymous
Mine was preinstalled with it too
I find this weird though... They could put a simple GNU/Linux distro, like Fedora or Debian With little effort, there's all drivers
Anonymous
Because it's faster to install?
it actually isn't that much faster than a distro without a WM, compositor, and X server
hacker12455
Eh
Sumi Bleckie
Mine is actually crashing with Linux

Broken i915 drivers
calling a linux driver i915 when it doesn't even support GMA 900 class IGPs is weird
Sumi Bleckie
same on windows 10 with newer drivers

What hardware do you have ?

bad mem management
Your memory might not be fully working as well
Sumi Bleckie
After i915 they use the same name convention and basic driver for all newer

They should have separed everything pre-Intel HD Graphics

Passed on test
If it fails on every single OS, then it might be a low level firmware issue Otherwise, it might need an RMA

here we go again...

I'd say best to ignore it xD
Sumi Bleckie
Ignoring it, just awkward

These guys do not know that ReactOS's codebase is checked regularly for stuff like that
Anonymous
So they should stop doing these nigger claims

And start acting like grown up persons

How can a MS kernel researcher know less than me lmao

File search feature now in master 🙂
Lutrulo
Cool!
Mike
Yeah! I hope it doesn't save the list of recent searches. I don't like those lists and those on open/save, since I use a lot of different file names and these lists become quite long.

Pfff. Monetized video...
Anonymous
My comments on the video aren't even showing up... Is there an approval thing going on, like most small channels do ?
rosbridge
<Cernodile> All videos on the ReactOS channel are monetized, all ad revenue goes directly to ReactOS Foundation. As for your comments, I suspect it's YouTube being flakey or someone has set you to be manually approved.
Anonymous
Well monetizing them is fine, I agree with it being a good thing. However, the CPM account should be high with that many ads lmao
Anonymous
Aren't there any international alternatives to something like Tipeeestream and uTip that we get in Western
Anonymous
Like these are ad watching platforms, each ad generating 3cts, and you can watch roughly 10 per account. I've seen many foundations doing a sort of contest, with the guy that watches the most ads winning something.
Anonymous
For ReactOS, it could be something like, talking with a rep, or winning a merch, or stuff that doesn't cost all that much *cough cough reactosstore.com*
Anonymous
how could that even exist
rosbridge
<Cernodile> Ad watching platforms seem shady, not good outlook on ReactOS
rosbridge
<Cernodile> Feel free to propose it to the mailing list though if you feel it's fit

I obviously will shoot out a quick email, getting 10€ per month for the foundation might be a nice starting goal.

how could that even exist
Are you running Xfce on GhostBSD or Linux?

RMA ... Remastering?
Nah... I don't exactly know what it means (language barrier ofc) but basically it's the OEM warranty. The machine is sent for free to their repair facilities, then they send you it back for free again

Why there is no Notepad++ in the poll? 😅

Why there is no Notepad++ in the poll? 😅
Probably because it's not that great in Wine

Actually it works fine in Wine, but even if it did not... how Wine is related at all? 🤣

I never encountered it, at all. It's the only one in the poll that doesn't have a native Windows app

Well... Neither do you. Also, stop judging me, I'm not doing that to you. Can I have the right to be who I am Everyone will be bored if I tell my life, so stop forcing me to do so.

I use nano sometimes as notepad. And rarely vi. I suppouse as others do.

Why do you think Wine makes a difference in this group?
Anonymous
On the bright side, most text editors works in ReactOS, including older VS versions and there must be a Windows port of Vi, and Nano
Anonymous
Notepad++, Atom, and Sublime Text all work iirc
Chungy
Every editor listed in the poll runs on Windows
