I do not understand why they put FreeDOS, I think it would be more interesting to put a Linux without Xorg or Wayland for use on modern equipment.

I find this weird though... They could put a simple GNU/Linux distro, like Fedora or Debian With little effort, there's all drivers

Like these are ad watching platforms, each ad generating 3cts, and you can watch roughly 10 per account. I've seen many foundations doing a sort of contest, with the guy that watches the most ads winning something.

For ReactOS, it could be something like, talking with a rep, or winning a merch, or stuff that doesn't cost all that much *cough cough reactosstore.com*
