Actually their source code is MIT, but binaries are freeware and their binaries follow the terms and conditions of Microsoft's legal agreement, which has a lot of shady areas

Is Vistual Studio Code FLOSS? The first time I came here was to complain about a Macbook running MacOS featured in the Community Blog. Why does people chill those things? and even worst, why the magazine editors don't moderate that?

You dont get that when building it from source - so a big part of what makes vsc vsc is not obtainable without hurdles

 
I'd argue that thats eyewashing - vsc as provided is closed source and microsoft being microsoft i can imagine nothing but nefarious reasons why

Same steps as for GTA V. Use QEMU and GPU passthrough or doubleboot with Windows.

 
Both ways would require you to install Windows though.
