A… a what? ?
Basically a folder where you tell python "this is what you'll work with" and you can tell programs to use the versions within, as your shell can

Because pip is hideous for systemwide python management and updating and co

Think in openshift as a frontend of kubernetes

That will be fixed from Fedora 27, where pip will install packages at a different directory.

That doesnt solve the integration problem that it is unable to tell which packages are its own and which are system installed, then making them globally available and interacting with dnf to notify a user that he may install a system version if a lib pip has and vice versa in the sysenv telling users to install dnf versions of software or using a venv

Not so much more. What would you actually like to abstract on K8s? There is not much more besides a serverless concept...

OpenShift adds functionality to kubernetes. You can use kubectl or kid tools against it... And 'oc', the command line tool, when renamed to kubectl Would act as such.

gnome default with no extensions and tweak tool is ugly and borders on "unusuable"

arc-theme, minimize/maximize buttons and dash to dock later its acceptable

That of course but even then what were they thinking disabling the buttons from the beginning?

I dont always have one window at macimized - quite often i have tons minimized and some tiled

Maybe they wanted the whole desktop to look like some weird touch based UX?

When all is said and done, GNOME 3 + some extensions is the best desktop, IMLTHO

The weird thing is that it works really nice with touch even when having these buttons available. I might argue it works better on touch with them too

I don't know. At first I missed the lack of minimize button, but after a while I started using virtual desktops instead of that and liked it better

and double click on any part of the title bar works even better for maximization than a button does

I have no time for that. I'm still struggling with my main problem in hands, that is "How to change sound volume in real time with Python?".
this would be the simplest solution : from subprocess import call call(["amixer", "-D", "pulse", "sset", "Master", "0%"])
