So does yandex, tons of russian services (ok, avito, sber), deutsche bank, idk, less popular banks, ibm, and more, and more. Lots of companies don't it, so it can be found on the internet.

hey all :) have a good day .. i wanna ask .. my fedora gnome it's eating about 1.5 GB from memory alone without any running programms and the CPU usage is about 2% installed xfce and it's about 1.1 GB on xfce :( WWWhyy that

If you see 1,5Gb usage it doesn't always really mean that all of them are used.
It just mapped for future uses, and if some other applications will have to take lots of RAM, this 1,5G for gnone will be shorten for the others.

Hm.. idk. You can try to disable animations for now and relaunch your xserver. Is it a gnome-shell itself?

acually it does with a meduim programs and it's doesn't give the full usage of the 4 GB ram

Well, your shell uses only 700 of that memory.
And you can click "memory", "CPU" tabs to show the highest values.

So look there and determine who consumes your RAM and CPU more when you'll got lagging. I'm a bit sure, that it's not a gnome-shell, but some other process.
Oh, okay, I see, gnome-shell: 55% to 59% of CPU.

Is Node good option ?
I think a few people more or less got at this, but yes, it is an option. Like PHP, I think it's really easy to write bad code though. So it can cause problems for long-term development if you're not careful. I think where Node is best though is if you are working on a project and need to make a proof of concept for something fast and easy. Node is easy enough to create a simple application and it can be nice if you just want to get something up and running fast.

javascript is just a mad dog which is not supposed to go out side the cage (the browser)
server side is fucked up enough by other shitty language to be screwed by js

I'm not agreeing or disagreeing, my point is I think Node has its purpose. But you can say that about any language too. Node is great for building applications fast. Doesn't mean they're secure or always performant, but it's easier than some other languages.

Beautiful, fast, good multithreading (go-routines), used by google in reality (e.g. they rewrote make on a half, called kati).

What about go (Golang)?
In my office, we're 90% Python, and Go is breaking in as the other 10%. Mostly because it's a niche language but it does a few things very, very, very well.
Also very nice for working with Kubernetes sort of things, heheh

Hi @aboazzam7 ! Welcome aboard!
Why not, it is asynchronous, flexible, you can write one language both a server and a client (if you're studying it). Lots of good and big services are build upon the Node.js, a bit difficult to learn.
Personally I hate it and I see the world, where the JavaScript will die, and everyone will live in harmony and happiness, but to be pragmatic, it is a good option to write backend, you can use it (please, don't).
This is sort of schizofrenic... or at least passive-aggressive ?
