Hmm, i used it sometimes and it can actualy tell wether i actualy use PHP, Rails or etc on the backend thoug indeed they give wrong version sometimes
If you set "expose php" to disabled it cant. and the second you send something like "powered by ror" it will gladly tell you that the remote uses ruby on rails.

This is a false positive of Google Analytics/Yandex tracking code. They checked if Java installed to report.

Never use wordpress if you can get around it, really. especially if you use any addons
Any reason? just curious. The things that make me move on from Wordpress is because it's feel more and more slower on each version, while i only need simple bloging platform. the only addons / plugin i use when still using WP probably just Jetpacks. ?

hey all :) have a good day .. i wanna ask .. my fedora gnome it's eating about 1.5 GB from memory alone without any running programms and the CPU usage is about 2% installed xfce and it's about 1.1 GB on xfce :( WWWhyy that

If you see 1,5Gb usage it doesn't always really mean that all of them are used.

It just mapped for future uses, and if some other applications will have to take lots of RAM, this 1,5G for gnone will be shorten for the others.

So look there and determine who consumes your RAM and CPU more when you'll got lagging. I'm a bit sure, that it's not a gnome-shell, but some other process.

Oh, okay, I see, gnome-shell: 55% to 59% of CPU.

It is bad, and the only option to fix it — to understand why it uses cpu a lot (or reinstall gnome (or reinstall fedora)). Or to try to google "gnome-shell uses cpu too much".

Is Node good option ?
I think a few people more or less got at this, but yes, it is an option. Like PHP, I think it's really easy to write bad code though. So it can cause problems for long-term development if you're not careful. I think where Node is best though is if you are working on a project and need to make a proof of concept for something fast and easy. Node is easy enough to create a simple application and it can be nice if you just want to get something up and running fast.

Java for Web is dead in 2000.
Maybe, but I'm not surprised to find it in company intranets (i.e. off the public web).

I'm not agreeing or disagreeing, my point is I think Node has its purpose. But you can say that about any language too. Node is great for building applications fast. Doesn't mean they're secure or always performant, but it's easier than some other languages.

In my office, we're 90% Python, and Go is breaking in as the other 10%. Mostly because it's a niche language but it does a few things very, very, very well.

Also very nice for working with Kubernetes sort of things, heheh
