They get noisy with time. I had one that was beautifully silent, but with time it start to make noise and it was getting worse and worse until I throw it through the window of my aparment

This has almost a year. I guess it's still in its silent times....

If I tag the drawers my housemate would kick me out of the flat. ?

@jflory7 I would write a kind of an article or a blog post about that contest I took part in this weekemd. I don't know if it would be suitable for a Fedora Magasine (don't pretend on an honour to be published there), since contest took place on Lenovo laptops with CentOS installed. Mostly want to do it to review it for myself. And @Kohane wanted to read it.

Would that be an interesting thing? I so far don't have my blog yet, but going to figure it out next week. I have some materials I can write about.

:^) in the process of having 2 fedora's alongside the other I was unable to add the Old Fedora 25 grub to the new Fedora Rawhide Grub. :/

I wiped the Debian 9 partitions to have Fedora Rawhide in it but It seems I have to learn some new tricks.

Guys.. Got a small trouble.. I have a 70gb hdd on my deskto And i used auto partition during installation of fedora Now it has made a vg of entire hdd And 2 LV / Swap Now I want to practice shell scripting for creating partition So is there any way to use an LV as a physical hard disk Like sda?

Do you really need to make other partitions...? Or you just want to practise?

There are lvreduce and resize2fs In this topic, there are also helpful comments to the answer.

Supposedly, there have to be some parameters for mkfs.ext4 to make a new partition lvm

Or i just don't understand the question correctly.

I have used an technique in my lab Share an lv using iscsi And install it as an initiator on other device Which will give one more hdd on other system But it will not work on same system
