I get the latest GNOME desktop very very soon after release, only other distro I've noticed this is OpenSuse gnome next and that's not got install

I'd recommend SolydX or Linux mint XFCE to linux beginners in a heartbeat; similar to Windows, stable, LTS, and extremely easily customisable...

Of course, some users want effects IE compiz

@Kohane Yeah .. Today is 38°C UP and 28°C down .. And I am FastinG .. Its workstation 25 .. I am a Conputer Science student .. I love fedora for my university tasks .. I use Atom, Codeblocks, Pycharm, Eclipse ..

Generally all GNU tools are bloated and underfeatured. Don't be mistaken, RMS has made a lot of good things. That does not include software often. What he does good is talking to people about free software and maintaining the GNU website with information.
