From my experience built-in adblockers are pretty subpar
Opera's sucks. Brave's sucks.

No it wasn't, but sometimes opinions are too strong here. Some people are made 'ew' expressions to try to make to feel bad about the software choices of others, just because they don't like it (happens often if you mention e.g.: emacs) and not everyone wants to deal with this kind of comments

Maybe, but here I see it for text editors, IDEs, programming languages, tablets, laptops, GPUs, etc, etc and etc
for text editors and the rest it's a discussion IMHO, heated but civilised (no swearings, etc etc), I am definitely not in position to define anything but IMHO it brings a bit of life into the channel, if anyone would behave like the guy who left (shouting, offending people, constant swearing) then I think it should not be tolerated

Civil, not the "Fork you mewmew i'm out you suck" - type discussions.

well, in the pinned message it's clearly written to respect the Fedora Code of Conduct, which requires people to be respectful, so the guy was clearly not following the channel rules

Actually this is mine:
So what attracts you guys to Fedora?
Fedora was my very first Linux distribution I ever installed to my desktop, also the very first Linux event I attended was organized by a Fedora Ambassador, there I got a free copy of a Fedora Live CD, since then I have been using Fedora. 2011.
I stayed because of the local community and later because of the OS stability even when it runs over newly and fresh Software.
If you want to talk about the now, install whatever linux distribution you want, if you want to talk and contribute to the future of LInux then run Fedora.
