Did you put a CPU cooler's fan in CPUFAN port?
I placed and screwed the fan on top the CPU, if that's your question....

They look absolutely identical, but CPUFAN has a writing near it saying that it is for CPU fan.

There is one port for fan that is called CPUFAN.

Others are called CASEFAN, SYSFAN, etc.

Uhm! I don't remember if I plugged it now I see this...

So, if you would plug it in wrong port, it would work, but system would see it as if you didn't plug in CPU fan but plugged case fan.

At the moment, I use Chrome, Opera & Firefox, in that order. Firefox mainly to download stuff ?
Firefox uses less resources but the same process for all tabs and the whole interface causes the freezing sensations. It is changing with Electrolysys and the Quantum Project

https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/Fedora_Core/3/html/Software_Management_Guide/sn-using-repositories.html

This should help if the program isn't in the official repos.

Sure, what program?
Thanks man. I'm trying to download the youtube-dl GUI from here ( https://mrs0m30n3.github.io/youtube-dl-gui/#downloads ) as a tar file and following this video ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=njqib0fzE9c&pbjreload=10 ) I managed to extract it into a folder but the ./configure command shows "no such file or directory" any idea how to go from here?

First try typing sudo dnf install youtube-dl-gui on a terminal or search for youtube-dl on gnome software...

I tried dnf install and it came up as no match The pi one just "sudo python setup.py install" in terminal?

Keep in mind that Leap versions are quite older than Fedora's. Tumbleweed are almost the same though.

Yes, that's what I'm saying. That if it's for installing on Fedora is better to look at Tumbleweed.

No, no, you have to look up first because the package name may vary.
I think the pkg name is youtube-dl-gui, from the GitHub page...

OK I misunderstood, but they host separate rpms for OpenSuse leap, tw, and Fedora(s)

I'm using Vivaldi at the moment. It's a nice browser, but it eats RAM like Chrome.
The Ram meme is so much bullshit. Only unused Ram is wasted Ram and Chrome "eating" it means "it will cache _everything_ so you can instantly reload the site when switching tabs instead of swapping". It will give said ram to any application that wants it else.

Also, dont use Vivaldi - its behind chrome in updates, security and its closed source. Three red flags at once.

What browser do you use? Do you particularly want the YouTube dl GUI app??
I use Firefox mostly for day to day stuff and midori for viewing pages without noscript and the like, I want the GUI for the more advanced options the program offers because I usually do playlists at a time rather than single videos so I like to have all the options right before starting the download and the last time I used the command line for it all the video formats came out as .mkv rather than mp4

I wanted the GUI for getting the options exactly right before starting a big download but if -i forces the video to be mp4 rather than .mkv that could work too, mkv is just a pain in the ass on certain TVs/computers to play

mpv --ytdl-format='[width<1900]' 'https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qV3_hqwAqPU'

This will literally hook into youtube-dl, choose a stream video smaller than 1900px and play it

Video output via mpv
