The Docker port redirection seems to bypass firewalld

Is this expected behaviour?

is there any tool to combine two internet connections in fedora ?

like the one in windows (connectify dispatching)

As far as i know it will add itself to firewallcmd (without permanent flag)

So yes, it is

天荣

15:12:48
That's why it won't show up in the list of open ports

Hmmm

Alright then

firewall-cmd --list-all

?

I mean I listed permanent only

Well I honestly didn't expect firewall to be modified

Some of my Docker machines I prefer to SSH tunnel in, instead of exposing them

You can reach them internally if you dont hardforward them.

How so?

I believe you can use BOND interface to do that

Tobias?
22.05.2017
15:47:29
or you can vpn there - aslong as its coming from the host or any other machine that is in the docker net you can directly access their ports.

yes adding a connection to anothor to increase the speed

i have two internet sources (1 MB & 3 MB)

But, I never tried before

Tbh i lost Interest in Docker when it became clear that 1) LXC exists 2) if the host has enough rum to justify KVM over lxc, kvm offers so much more features and separation.

https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/Fedora/25/html/Networking_Guide/ch-Configure_Network_Bonding.html yup but it's huge, i was looking for simple GUI tool, i hate networking stuff ?

天荣

Except Docker is not based on LXC anymore

But for me its one of two - shared kernel and lxc for muh ram - kvm everything

Also makes it easier to set up more stuff, like snmpd, monitoring, smokeping...

And docker fails spectacularily at managing services like this or reporting good values via snmpd.

Netdata

And LXC has issues regarding root privileges that Docker has patched so...

I use both no problem

Not nearly as centralized and way, way more bs that i dont need displayed there :P

i want my monitoring central :3

Netdata is centralised.

Or well, to be more specific. It can be centralised.

It's all explained in their wiki

It's interesting

By default it won't write data to disk but you can collect metrics using whatever database you want

They also have an API to query status as well as custom views etc

And won't take even 1% of CPU in a modern CPU with at least 2 cores

It's absurdly fast in my i3 U

deadgnom32

why absurdly. if it is written in C, then it can be really lightweight and fast library to do this.

Except there's no other webapp that is able to do it so fast and light

And featurewise I'm pretty sure it beats other heavyweight tools too

Folks Do you know if I can install another Linux based Operation Sistem on the same \boot partition I have Fedora on at the moment?

Or should I have one boot partition for each sistem?

You should have one separated /boot partition for each system.

Augusto

My problem is that I made the Fedora boot partition 1gb large IDK why

Now I have more than 700mb useless there :/

I'm wondering if I can shrink that partition ?

(■_■¬)
22.05.2017
23:44:56
You can, but the installer officially ask for at least 1GB, 700MB free is not that much, sure you can save more space in your home deleting any other useless stuff.

Augusto

It's not a big deal really I just wondered... When I saw that, it just didn't any sense lol

Does it ask? ??? That might explain why I did that hahahaha I really don't remember that day lol
If you click on "Click here to create them automatically" it will assign 1GB to /boot

It's not a big deal really I just wondered... When I saw that, it just didn't any sense lol
I have seen cases in which upgrading from N to (N+1) ask for at least 1GB on /boot
