The problem mentioned before wasn't against anaconda itself, but against the partitioner and I'm a little +1 on this, it can be a little hard to configure sometimes
For multi disks is ultra hard

At least the first time. If you are used to, it's normal
I pass a hard time to configure a ssd and spin disk configuration
Where I was setting /var /opt /home and swap to spin disk and / and /boot to ssd

I agree
And I know it wasnt anaconda itself
I still havent gotten anaconda to properly install a BTRFS system however
openSUSE’s YaST installs a btrfs system in a couple clicks
There IS a new partitioning GUI in the anaconda installer for 26 release but I dont know if its any different under the hood.

I will try this setup by the end of the year, and ssd for the / and /boot
and a HDD for the /home and swap

Curious, why not the swap on the SSD?

Sometimes the main issue a lack of up to date documentation.
Well see, why should I need documentation for a one-click auto configure feature? I understand the importance of documentation and reading. But if a feature is as advertised and another installation software has it down that justs silly to say its a Docs thing.

True, but you should turn down the swap write frequency down by default anyway. ( in my opinion that is )

Swap is suppose to have a lot of writting
Yeap, well it depends on how much RAM you have and how much you use it.
I have 8GB on RAM and swap and I have never used more tha 5GB and never used the swap T_T XD

Eduard
10.04.2017
16:54:04
Well, in modern systems swap is used for hibernation and stuff like that
Because you can find computers with 4, 6, 8 and more GB of RAM

This.
I forgot about this. Good point.

And is in production, I can't change the configuration
