You may also want to go to DORS/LUC. That the #1 floss event in Croatia.
I'll definitely have to go to that one! It'd be right in the backyard.

Also, question… anyone have any experience with the HTC 10 and if it would be a good smartphone selection to get as compared to what's out there? I'm really behind on keeping up with the newest mobile tech.

I'm looking at getting a new phone in coming months, wondering if anyone had great experiences with any particular smartphone over another.

one major factor behind locked phones is the US conception of 'tethering' which is considered a particular privilege and charged extra

and it's illegal to modify a phone to act as a modem for a computer without the extra charges

In my opinion, when you buy a device, smartphone in this case, it is supposed that from that moment it is yours and you can do anything you want with it, no limitations or whatever.. that`s why I use unlocked phones only :) customizable, especially viable for us geeks :D

Battery life is great, one of the best in the market. I usually end a day with 50-60% of battery after moderate usage. Audio is good, it's Sony after all. Android is almost stock and fairly quickly updated. Durability? Ive had the phone for >6 month without any cover and it's like new.

It only has one disadvantage: you cannot run Fedora on it... yet ?

You can only scale by integers, I'm afraid.

You can change scaling in gnome-tweak-tool.

The mobile market here in the States is definitely a lucrative market… Project Fi seems interesting though.

Okay, awesome! Sounds like an awesome line then. I was trying to find it on the Sprint site earlier and wasn't able to dig anything up. :/ I might have to visit a store or call, at least from my past experiences.

It only has one disadvantage: you cannot run Fedora on it... yet ?
Yet. ;) Someone had a blog post about running Fedora on a smartphone. I can't remember whose blog it was, I think it was a month or two ago.

Lets say I want the default Fedora 23 with just git available by default, any links that could help me? Usecase : I usually visit many schools / colleges/ universities and everytime I got, its getting tuf for me to ask them to install Fedora on their lab computers . So instead if I could carry a few LiveUSB, with the default set of packages already bundeled, it could help me move things faster. Like, git, python, django stellarium etc aready bundled.

Or is this the only way : https://wiki.sugarlabs.org/go/Build_Your_Own_Remix_with_Fedora
