If you look up FUDCON Fedora in Google the first one that comes up is India. I guess it's the biggest...

If you need to apply for visa or if you need to ask leave from work, a letter of invitation can back up your request

I don't think so, from what I know I can fly directly to Europe.

If you want to visit Europe, Uruguay only needs a letter invitation, no needed visa @Kohane

And usually customs agents doesn't ask for the invitation letter

And the best way to travel Europe without be in transit through USA, is traveling to Germany

I did that where I was in Prague, in that year I hadn't USA visa
