Some Linux projects don't think for a second about it. That's shitty engineering and no planning at all.
Problems about backwards compatibility are mainly caused by the fact that you have to support a weakly designed interface. But if you'd think about that interface, implement it well, and support it for some time, there would be no problem.

Look: bash scripts from ~1999 would probably still run. Web browsers will still fetch webpages using HTTP even if they are 20 years old. It can be done

the point I'm trying to make is that if you'd make a commercial package using Linux libraries now, you'd have to update it constantly to make it work on current Linuxes. It's a significant cost to the company that makes it. The point about updating an app to prevent security problems is valid, but you can update libraries while still having binary backwards compatibility, not breaking these old apps.

Or using a havily sandboxed Approach
Like flatpak
Also, few Libs change their ABIs all that often, so if you design your Application well (which is not the case with most closed Source Products) you can upadte very easily

If an event (andsec.org) give fedora the possibility of been a "supporting community", by promoting the event, Fedora can, in some way, promote it?
Last year, a friend of mine make Fedora been a supporting comm. This year, my friend is AFK

This is its strongest point from a desktop perspective. I think they also do a lot of similar packaging methods (I know a lot of people involved with the Games SIG are Fedora and Mageia packagers), but I don't know much more than that.

Which is better : Fedora or Manjaro ?
When I started learning programming, I was asking this question a lot, ppl with no experience in this field answer it with one word some said python others said C++, etc.
But the really programmer was smiling in my face when I ask this question, now I could say I'm programmer and I realized why they laugh at my question
There is no better in IT sector, the same concept can be applied on distribution comparing, they are all good just choose what suite ur needs
Besides, what answer do u expecte when u ask (Fedora Vs whatever) in Fedora group ?
