i3wm on top of a minimal install via netinstall + xorg + Hardware support + NetworkManager. I bet this setup at least will surpass the 100MB on RAM.

Nothing official, as far as I know. I'd rather use the official ARM images.

Folks, I'm getting a very weird issue on my laptop related to Language and Region... I'm trying to configure it as "Deutsch Deutschland" and after loging out and in almost everything is in German, but in the configuration shows "English UK" and some programmes don't get updated, they're still showing their interfaces in English instead of German. Formats are fine though.

You are right by the way.. The bootloader wan't installed. I even turned of the Fast Boot mode from the BIOS and the Windows settings so that Windows doesn't interfere with the installation process

If that'd not give me a clue on what exactly is the reason, theb I'd try to install it at a separate media, like USB disk or a spare HDD, to cut off potential motherboard issue, while main (SSD and HDD, or whatever you have installed there) being disabled physically. Installing it in a seperate media is currently not an option.. I've changed the installation media and trying it again. If this again fails, I'll try to collect the logs.

Windows tends to lock up the NTFS and/or corrupt BL ect.

Yes.. I was afraid of that and that is why I did perform a clean shutdown..

I think, if it falls on bootloader step, it shouldn't have much to do with drivers.

When you start the Installer it shows a console UI for a few seconds. the numbers at the bottom are reachable via ctrl-alt-F(number)
