The more I like about it it's that install your own instance is easy (well medium difficulty to be fair)

Just install, DRI_PRIME variable activates discrete card
example: DRI_PRIME=1 glxinfo
the embedded driver nouveau already supports it

Hello,
Anybody using negativeo17's repo for nvidia drivers?
Does it work for nvidia optimus? Does it offer nvidia prime to switch between intel or nvidia?

Okay, the answer is no.
I am thinking only theoretically... isn't RPM database separate for dnf and zypper? so in theory if you'd install a package using one or another, package information would end up in one place anyway?

As far as I know, except the closed source drivers, the rest are available in official repos, I don't think is necessary to use Negative.

If in doubt get the binary installer on nvidia.com
But i guess, that fusion repo have the Nvidia drivers

yes fedora devs are working with this negativeo17 guy for proprietary drivers and optimus support. and the lead on this recommends the negativeo17 package. I ll see if i can retrieve the link.
No it is not at all necessary it's just that i read a lot of good stuff about this guy's repo and the way he packages stuff
