Yep googke gives you 60 days and $300 usd to test and openshift 3 gears (application containers) for free and w/o credit card. Heroku is free also but yoy app must sleep 8 hours per day. I recommend openshift and is redhat supportet btw.

Why? Gnome - RedHat-based, KDE - SUSE, Unity - Ubuntu, Cinnamon - Linux Mint, Pantheon - elementaryOS. Xfce is good in all distros and LXDE is bad everywhere

That is because they possibly dont have a good amount of contributors and resources they need for development. I was a LXDE user and I have never seen it fail.

Well, I used it for a not so long time, but I didn't like it. XFCE is so fast as LXDE and you can change it the way you want. Not so many option for LXDE. Perhaps, should be what you said: they don't have a good amount of contributors and resources.

I've already had F24 on my work machine for 2 weeks. Except for one bummer with screwed up SELinux policy update no problems. If you disable updates testing you'll be fine.

The whole point of experice is not common right ? For example, when I am trying to run a DE on a P4 machine , with 512 RAM, GNOME or KDE will suck. On the other hand, LXDE runs so smooth. It is dependent on what is our expectation from the computer

I dont know. there are ways to compile things I suppose.

You can either use rawhide branch or someone is providing an alternative repo, they already have most of the multimedia stuff ready for F24. It's hosted on github.

Yesterday I successfully moved from Ubuntu 14.04 to Fedora, and without any embarrassment at once decided to install 24 alpha, including to send bug reports. Frankly, I am more than pleasantly surprised, but even Fedora 24 alpha behaves as it would be a very strong and stable release. I imagine what will happen next. Yes, there were some difficulties with proprietary codecs, but I do them all successfully resolved.

Oh, I used the spam cleaner tool. I just skimmed through the messages and it looked like spam in the conversations. I can unban your account but you should contribute to the discussion and not just post off-topic pictures in the middle of a discussion as well. I will unban your account.
