I wish to switch to Fedora 24 from another distrib, but i'd like to know what's general point of stability and performance of Fedora copare to Ubuntu for example? Not for holy war, only in academic purposes, of course.
Fedora is very stable. The only issue you may have is with Nvidia, their drivers not always work.Thank you, guys! I've started with linux many years ago, and it was Mandriva or RedHat, i forgot. Later i switched to Ubuntu 8.04 and i was generally satisfied before turn to unity interface. After a while i got used to unity, but this distro turn up too experimental. So, after 16.04 release i thought to switch to more stable and powerful linux.
Fedora is powerful, stable and less resources hungry.i only used Nordic Swedish, German and Dutch

Do you use xo? Which one? And how it is?
I had the chance to try a version that have better spec than the regular XO on a demo, I was running fedora 22 with gnome shell, with 2GB RAM, webcam, and better keyboard quality compered with the other version. It was mor like 12" laptop than a regular XO.The firts thing I did was to match the system keyboard layout with the bulit in keyboard. en-uk.

Yes but more than a vps is a cloud IDE if you want a vps go for amazon ecs. Or cloud google. But i'm already using openshift for my apps and cloud9 to edit and test before deploying.
