Yes, my Toshiba would heat but not much, nothing to do with my present laptop. However, I'm not complaining. Great graphics, fast and works well overall. And it travelled all around Europe with me and never a gap.

Meh. Like I said I'd have preferred an Intel card. That said, I have both Iris and Radeon. And Nvidia doesn't care too much about macOS lately. Probably because Apple no longer builds with them.
