It's no joke: you can run the public preview of the upcoming Microsoft SQL Server v.Next on Fedora! Read the Magazine to find out how.

@Tobias4X - Concerning Shockwave Flash Player or whatever plugin I am using on my end. The latest Firefox release (50 if I recall correctly) keeps me saying the plugin is outdated and therefore I should update it. Bringing up the previous discussion we had, is it true Adobe Flash Player no longer supports Firefox or vice versa? I'm mulling over the idea of installing Chromium as you suggested me.
On a separate note, I found this Firefox add-on called Flash Control. It literally is an on-off switch for Flash Player and components as such. To an extent, it cushions the blow if you allow me to say it so.

it will not do you any good tough as you shouldn't be using testing anyway

Pepper Flash Player is maintained by Google, and is newer than Adobe Flash Player. Adobe currently still provides security fixes for Adobe Flash Player. Google provides newer features in Pepper Flash Player. Pepper Flash Player can currently only be used with Chromium (and with Chrome).

QT apps have big controls
Not sure if this gonna work, but IIRC I have seen almost the same question about scaling on qt app.
Try this under your own risk:
env QT_AUTO_SCREEN_SCALE_FACTOR=0 vlc
And if it works...
echo "export QT_AUTO_SCREEN_SCALE_FACTOR=0" > /etc/profile.d/qt-hidpi.sh
@JustDevZero shared this at Fedora ES.

To use the PPAPI "PepperFlash" flash plugin, download it here:
https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/
Choose Linux 64-bit, FP 22.0 (or later) for other Linux 64-bit, PPAPI.
You will then have flash_player_ppapi_linux.x86_64.tar.gz. Unpack it into /usr/lib64/chromium-browser/PepperFlash/. Then, restart chromium. You should see Adobe Flash Player in chrome://plugins.

dnf install chromium
Lol. Earlier I was researching how to get it done and I think I added a repository - or maybe I didn't. Does this repository comes up built-in or was it added by myself?
Either way, I tried dnf install chromium and it seems to be working. It is installing it.
