@Wolfshappen You were right about video acceleration. I didn't realise up to now because it comes by default (in Chrome, at least). I just looked at the Settings you showed in the screenshot and found it enabled.

Tobias?

Even if that value is enabled.
Chrome has linux as platform blacklisted for it.

Kohane
17.10.2018
23:21:03
Why?

Tobias?
17.10.2018
23:22:25
Because the chrome team doesnt want to bother building a feature blacklist for the 8 or 10 different linux gpu drivers so far.
Something like "4:4:4 vp9 over 25mb/s in mkv container doesnt work on radeon pre-4000 module fglrx"

Google

Tobias?

And yes, these blacklists grow quickly, fast. xD

I didn't get a chance to try it out, unfortunately (I started with Linux only about 3 years ago), but I do like haiku and appreciate the devs' perseverance

My problem has been solved by myself! In order for applications to be recognized by exo-preferred-applications, you must use update-alternatives to create soft links to your application in the system.

Oh, BTW! Anyone using KDE? Why I need to double click on files and folders in Dolphin but single click elsewhere? I've been looking for the setting to change this, but I can't find it so far.

Rather the other way round, that Dolphin is broken.
It's Dolphin the only one that is not following the general settings.
And I can't find an option to configure it. ?

Does fedora ship with a lower version of dolphin? I wonder.
