@SaltyNuttz The recommended software heavily depends on what you do with your computer.
@SaltyNuttz Keyboards shortcuts depend on your desktop, so what desktop are you using?

I think it's gnome.. ? I know it's not KDE. The default when installing Fedora Workstation 24

Web design & development. What languages do you use to develop? Meantime, install Gimp, Inkscape & VIM. Those are the basics for your work.
It's Gnome Shell, yes
Well, first of all install Gnome Tweak Tool so you can customise your keyboard and appearance.

Telegram from official site built against static versions of Ubuntu libraries, don't support system fontconfig settings and so on. Don't use it. Just build from sources: https://github.com/xvitaly/tgbuild

This would be against the rules

Also the smileys tg uses have a questionable license ect ect

Yes. You can check SPEC of this COPR repo: http://copr-dist-git.fedorainfracloud.org/cgit/rommon/telegram/telegram-desktop.git/tree/telegram-desktop.spec?id=4e62c97062c93297ea6498e007ca9ce58761cda9

You can unpack downloaded tarball and replace OpenSans-Bold.ttf, OpenSans-Regular.ttf and OpenSans-Semibold.ttf by your own fonts, then pack new tarball and put it into rpmbuild SOURCES directory.
