which is effectively screencloud

It would also be nice to depend on GNOME Screenshot instead since that's something that will obviously keep being updated as long as GNOME is around.

Well, Screencloud is open source too, but I think it's a challenging application right now…
I don't know if it's the leanest thing ever.

it seems slightly unnecessary
It's convenient as a tool, but its difficulty is making it hard to justify the convenience. For example, the latest 1.3.0 release from two months ago completely broke it on my system (and many others as shown in the issue tracker). He told us to grab the older RPM and I'm not sure if he has made commits since.
I'm running the 1.2.0 release now

Tobias?

doesnt shutter upload to image services too?
because that works in its newest version

Fedora is Redhats testbed*
I disagree with this statement. Since all the contribution and improvements made in fedora are available to other projects.
The kernel is a good example, have you all counted how many *@redhat.com mails account are in the linux kernel mailing list?
Then we have projects like GNOME and its subprojects like NetworkManager or ModemManager, flatpak... in the end all of this efforts ends available for other projects/distros/users.

The i3 arch wiki pages might be an option:
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/i3
Or ping Lukas Zapletal and ask if he can update his post on i3 docs or share his current set up, even ask him if he has used i3 gasp on fedora, he is quite active on G+
https://i3wm.org/docs/user-contributed/lzap-config.html

but fedora != arch
That's obvious no?, but somethings are well documented in the arch wiki that are not distro based. The mate wiki page for arch has help me a lot on fedora.

Hi Everyone, i'm now reading about the livecd-tools, etc.
I basically want the following; an live image environment with basic tools (parted, cryptsetup, megacli, srvadm-idracadm7) etc
For now it's unclear for me if tutorials like (https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/How_to_create_and_use_a_Live_CD) are meant to be as an custom installer or an custom live image.
I only need the live image environment with those tools + custom scripts/files.
We already build this with Debian, but there are too much difference in terms of file-locations, etc.
Any tips?
