The 4.8 #Linux kernel released on October 2nd, and the "merge window' for new features in the 4.9 kernel release is open. Wondering what's on the horizon? Fedora kernel developer Laura Abbott highlights upcoming features of interest for Fedora users.

Hello! Welcome to the group. :)
@robbyoconnor Are you still up for doing a Node code review? ;)
If so, or anyone else here who might be good at Node, feel free to help out with some of the teleirc PRs. :)

where are the terminal colors stored?
in which file if not in bashrc?

Google

Tanuj

bashrc is for the shell, but the terminal is a totally different program

deadgnom32
18.10.2016
21:21:34
i use xfce, the default command for the terminal is
xfce4-terminal
it uses xterm as "engine" but it is colorfull, not like if i run xterm directly

Tanuj
18.10.2016
21:22:26
so its config files are in ~/.config/xfce4/terminal/

i've seen on a friend's machine a much better color-scheme, but don't know how to get it the same way on my machine.
thanks. i'll try

no, you can't get the color values from the settings.
you just see the color it self, but not the value. that's the problem
and the values aren't default ones/

Tanuj

21:24:17
what term does your friend use
seems to me like you can set your palette to any colour scheme you want either from settings or by editing the config file

deadgnom32
18.10.2016

the same one
he just installed korora(built on fedora) 24 directly, where I just made a dnf system-upgrade to it.
and he has an all new fancy style of the term.

there's a lot of different ways to rice a term

deadgnom32
18.10.2016
21:27:42
this aren't his colors, this are custom colors made by korora team for a new fedora version
you jsut get them by default by installing it freshly on your machine
but you don't get them if you upgrade to a new distribution version.
besides.
i copyed all my /home directoy to his PC, and the colors he has are still the same.
so it must be something global
