Sounds like the energy drink sponsors I see at hackathons here in the US. I can't remember the names but they're not the name brands. Red Bull sponsors a lot of gaming events though.

Well, that I cant confirm, I've been using Linux since forever (~10 years). So, I really don't know if they did a better job than before.

So, if they fixed some bugs... they increased their system. Well, good to all who uses it.

Jobava

But XP was good
the problem was not usability, it was the lack of freedom, it just wasn't something being discussed except in small circles
I did use some linux distros for quite a while a few years back, but didn't get the freedom angle
and for a company, having to wrangle with licenses and, worst of all, license inspections
Microsoft and Oracle were the worst of the bunch, I can't imagine them pulling such humiliating contract conditions nowadays (well, maybe Oracle still does it)
not only inspections, but getting the friendly help of the state to do raids against random companies, even small ones (that stopped)
now this is once again at the forefront, but this time with the entertainment industry leading the charge: 3 strikes laws, mandatory or opt-out filtering, mass suits etc.
