for OpenMRS' ID dashboard, we use js files and just export a Javascript Object

which is more or less JSON, but you get the parsing for free from simply requiring it — I believe you can do the same for JSON files actually!

That makes sense to me.

you can do it as JS or JSON — it works the same

I didn't test this.. it SHOULD work.

Run this under node 4 or 5 and you get some of the ES6 features that make JS tolerable

Fglrx maybe but installing it on fedora is bad idea. @Tobias4X says new kernels include AmdGPU kmod but it does not seem to load for me.

Yes, going to France will improve your French, if you already have a good base

The corollarly is that moving to country X without a base will allow you to prove that language is not learned by osmosis

I've heard moving to a country with no knowledge of the language allows you to learn that language and it makes sense since there was a time when that was the only way to learn a new language, but I personally only have experience with going to a country and learning the language on top of an existing base that I learned in an academic fashion.

Well, I was learning Polish while I was in Krakow, and I knew nothing of it. But I'm example of nothing because I'm good at languages and I already know some others, so that also helps (you instictively cross information).

I think this really depends on what is meant by "learn the langauge." I've recently started receiving more compliments on my Czech ... however I would not say I've learned it. I've merely become good at phrases.
