In F20, I used Nouveau, but it ran magenta lines through my display and the graphics were all fuzzy. I switched to the proprietary ones and everything became immediately sharp.

I'd have to find time to play with reverting the drivers and also time in case I brick my desktop another time. If they're stable and very functional, I'd be happy to switch. But my experience last time leaves me leery.

I understand they don't want to confuse users, but that's over the top. It would be way more useful if it'd say "Xx went wrong", like "Nautilus crashed" or "Mutt cannot be started". At least, one know what's wrong. Not just "something".

I use Clam AV to check HDD that are used under windows. If I had to run a mail server, I will install it on the server. I even use Clam once to check a wine installation to successfully wipe a virus on a linux computer.
