hello. why fedora version removes kernel packages from repo? I want kernel-devel and kernel-headers 4.6.7-200, but they are not

Just install kernel-devel without specifying version

you can restrict permissons (e.g. executing binaries) through mount options

i want to use my usbasp and my chip without root.
e.g i want to flash my chip using web based chip flasher.
this chip flasher need to access my chip over usb. So, i must set udev rules.

Bandikoot

if I remember correctly, you don't need root to mount drives listed in fstab
you'll only need to get device UUID in
ls -l /dev/disk/by-uuid/
and set correct mount parameters

is that method will work for usbasp? this is not drive,

Could you try dnf update? 4.7.2-201 is out,

Nobody knows. If you need a 100% working Nvidia Binary Drivers instead of Nouveau a bleeding Edge Distro shouldn't be your choice.

Here is an old answer. But it's rarely necessary because it stores them in a separate area so you won't be able to use that space anyway. https://ask.fedoraproject.org/en/question/23316/how-to-delete-old-kernel-version-from-grub/
Also doesn't take up much space at all

This happens when you've got more then 1 kernel installed in your system. When kernel gets an update, the previos one isn't removed from the system. It's totally ok, because new kernels may contain bugs, so you still have opportunity to boot an old (stable) one.

[Anonymous]

Right, it's nice to be able to choose an older one in case there is any new bug you discover in the latest.

More free space.
several Mb? don't bother until you have about 5-7 different kernels
especially now. 4.7.2 has some serious issues, as I've heard (NVIDIA users suffer a lot)
