The problem is that in proprietary software, work little people that cooperate and test it out a lot and are payed for that, while in foss the program is written by hundreds even thousands of people, each one using his/her own way of coding, which makes that buggy and not so excellent

MS office does offer interesting features such as RMS. For most of my work, libreoffice works out fine.
