hmm, it is difficult to explain. First, I am talking about Manjaro (no Arch). Then, DNF allows to use delta packages, a powerful way to reduce bandwidth. Also, DNF can search libraries or a specific executable command with "provides". In my experience with Manjaro, I could not do that

if you install other packages (they are not exactly package managers) you could obtain something similar to the search of libraries as I mentioned (Arch only, no Manjaro)

Anyways i am gonna give fedora another try. By the way hows the upgrade system now? Since its release cycle is short fresh installation is nuisance

yea compared to LTS. I am fornd of LTS or rolling release! I run away from fresh installs because upggrade may not be smooth

My laptop has always been easy to upgrade. My desktop is a little trickier but that's because I use certain Nvidia drivers, so I have to make sure I have them from the right place before upgrading my desktop.

Possibly. Do you use Nouveau or are you using proprietary drivers?

I use proprietary, its quadro and used for graphics purposes sometimes and sometimes dota 2 gaming.
