The water is fine. The problem is the weather. You may go out to take a bath and 15 minutes later is pouring water as if it never rained the whole year. The northern you go, the worse it gets.

In winter England is colder, yes, and Scotland is obviously colder than England. But summer is okay. If it wasn't for the rain and swift changes...

Not always rain. You also may get drizzle, mist and thick mist that is almost like raining but without real drops making umbrellas completely pointless. Oh, and wind. Particularly in the north.

Uruguay has his lot of messed weather too. It used to be quite normal but got extremely humid in the last years, ranging 70-90% in summer.

Nope. It's rather fresh. Usually around 25° in summer and 10° in winter. Although it varies a lot. And the last two summers before I left were horribly humid and hot, but that's an exception. Also the east coast is way fresher and dry that the west coast, and both are colder than the northern top (that is next to Brazil). Montevideo is like a fresh Buenos Aires, more or less.
